Portraits, unlike headshots, tell more of a story by capturing a personality, brand, environment, special look, or certain time in your life. Portraits reflect the unique bond and genuine connections between people, and will resonate for generations. They are something to look at, enjoy and treasure to highlight these times in your life.
A wide variety of portraits can be done both in studio and on location. In studio portraits are ideal when you're looking for a simple background in a controlled, indoor environment. On location portraits are perfect when you're looking for an outdoor setting, a specific location, or when you prefer the photographer comes to you.
Most people don't like being in front of a camera and having their picture taken. Don't worry, Troy understands this and is committed to providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience so your session is stress-free, easy and fun!
Portrait sessions are scheduled for two (2) hours, but have some flexibility. These sessions include expression and posing coaching, wardrobe changes, and four (4) high resolution retouched image from the session. Images from the session can be viewed and selected for retouching via a private, online proofing gallery. In studio portrait sessions are only $500. Additional high resolution retouched images are available for $100 each.
On location portrait sessions take into account the location(s), equipment transportation and setup, travel, and the total time involved. These sessions include expression and posing coaching, wardrobe changes, and four (4) high resolution retouched image from the session. Images from the session can be viewed and selected for retouching via a private, online proofing gallery. On location portrait sessions vary as they take into account the location, distance, travel, equipment transportation, setup and breakdown. Additional high resolution retouched images are $100 each.
Preparing For Your Portrait Session
Some people aren't quite sure how to prepare for their portraits. If you fall into that category, don't worry. Clothing, hairstyles, makeup and jewelry are a personal choice for portraits as they tell your story.
