A professional headshot is a head and shoulders image that shows you at your best, with an amazing expression, great lighting, and a modern, clean look and background.

No.  When you work with me, we'll discuss the purpose of your headshot and how it will be used.  Whether for social media, business websites and directories, or in printed materials, I'll make sure your headshot suits your specific needs.  Do you need a specific background to match where your headshot will be used?  Do you or your company have specific requirements for the images dimensions, resolution and format?  We'll discuss all those questions and tailor your headshots for what YOU need, not what I want to shoot.

Except for Express Headshot Sessions, there is no limit to the number of looks, outfits, or backgrounds you can have.  It's more a matter of what can reasonably be accomplished during your session.

I want your experience to be collaborative, energetic and fun.  We'll create a variety of images, reviewing them in real time as we go to make sure you love the images we create.  You'll be coached to get very flattering and authentic expressions and make you look your very best.  At the end of the session, we'll review the images together and you'll be able to pick ones you absolutely love.

Yes.  Some companies have specific requirements for their headshots.  Your company may have worked with another photographer in the past but that's okay.  We can match that style and look to maintain consistency of your company's  headshots.  All you need to do is supply some sample images and we'll take care of the rest.

A headshot is a head and shoulders image, a portrait is anything that contains more than just the head and shoulders.  Portraits can be  1/4 body to full length and can include multiple people.  Portraits generally have more artistic posing, ighting, backgrounds and clothing.
